He has called Israel a 'stinking corpse' that is 'on its way to annihilation.' Such talk cannot be dismissed as the ravings of a madman - not when Iran just this summer tested long-range Shahab-3 missiles capable of striking Tel Aviv, not when the Iranian nuclear program is nearing completion, and not when Iran sponsors terrorists that threaten and kill innocent people around the world.

President Ahmadinejad should be held accountable for inciting genocide, a crime under international law…. Senator McCain has made a solemn commitment that I strongly endorse: Never again will we risk another Holocaust. And this is not a wish, a request, or a plea to Israel's enemies. Iran can't be allowed to repeat Auschwitz

"Sixty-five years after Auschwitz, we cannot allow someone who wants to wipe Israel off the map to obtain the tools to get away with it,"
Ephriam Sneh, Israel's former deputy defense minister, told The Jerusalem Post on his visit to Hiroshima on the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day 2008. Seeing the horrific images of that city destroyed by an atomic bomb in World War II, he added, "Iran cannot be allowed to do that to Tel Aviv."

Never Again?

In the tradition of Picasso’s painting Guernica extended into our networked times, I have created this work of Internet art as a call to action to prevent a second Holocaust before Ahmadinejad executes his plan to “wipe Israel off the map” with a nuclear bomb that is Iran’s prelude to global conquest in the service of a mad ideology.

Just as the world’s acquiescence to Hitler’s raining bombs on the village of Guernica gave him the license to start WW II and exterminate the Jews of Europe on his way to global conquest, the world’s indifference to the thousands of rockets launched against Israel by Iran’s proxy armies, Hamas and Hizbullah, are empowering Ahmadinejad to incinerate the Jews of Israel as a prelude to his global jihad.

Nearly two years have past since I created this artwork. Unfortunately, the world continues to do little to stop Iran’s plans to execute a second Holocaust.

The Mufti and The Fuhrer

Haj Amin al-Husseini, Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and President of the Supreme Muslim Council, spent WW II in Berlin with The Fuhrer planning the extermination of the Jews of both Europe and the Land of Israel. Only half of the plan was executed and commemorated with Holocaust memorials. Ahmadinejad, al-Husseini's heir, plans to execute the second half.

The flag of the Division of Nazi Muslims headed by al-Husseini, Hitler's largest SS division whose mission was genocide, couples the sword of militant Islam and the Nazi swastika. They can be symbols for a future Holocaust memorial that artist Mel Alexenberg proposes designing in advance of the second half of the Mufti-Fuhrer plan being executed by Ahmadinejad's nuclear bomb.

This monument to the six million Jews exterminated by the Nazis is a sprawling field of 2,700 stone slabs in Berlin. The artist Mel Alexenberg proposes doubling its size by adding 2,700 more stone slabs as a future memorial to the six million Jews of Israel incinerated by an Iranian nuclear bomb. 5,400 stone slabs for twelve million Jews murdered by the world’s indifference.
